Launch of My Photo Central

I am very excited to announce the launch of MyPhotoCentral. As a photographer, I have been crafting my skill by going through plenty of interesting resources, talking to many professionals and, most importantly, by trial and error. Throughout the years I have been able to accumulate plenty of experience and yet I still find myself learning new things every day.

The idea for this website was conceived when I found myself overwhelmed by queries and requests from my friends and colleagues: they wanted explanation on how I achieve certain photo effects, what light setups I find most useful and some even wanted to be present at my photo shoots! While I tried to do my best to satisfy everyone’s thirst for knowledge I think it would be much more efficient to have all of this information on a website for everybody to see. Hopefully this approach will not only help my friends but also provide useful and interesting information to other people fascinated by photography.

Photography is both my job and my passion – and I can’t believe how awesome and inspiring it can be.

Of course, I could not have done all this by myself. This website is a team effort, a team consisting of strong, creative individuals who believe in what we create and love to share our experience with others. We would like to invite everyone who is interested in improving their photography skill and invite you to share your own knowledge and join us in this ambitious undertaking. Whether you just bought your first camera or are a professional photographer with plenty of experience, we hope you will stay and share your experience with all of us.

My first son was born two weeks ago and, just like him, this website is just starting its own life in this exciting world. Just like a newborn, MyPhotoCentral is starting out with basic reflexes but we have plenty of growth potential. We have many thrilling ideas and features coming in the near future and we would love it if you can learn and get inspired by our work. Photography is an art but like any art you have to master your skill to make the vision on your heart a reality. Hopefully MyPhotoCentral can push you in the right direction.

Currently I pledge to share my own experience here but if you feel that you have something interesting to share, feel free to contact us. I am the first one to admit that I am not a writer, but I must write to share my experience so don’t judge me too hard if you find mistakes or inconsistencies but rather comment or contact us. This will not only improve the quality of the information but also make it easier for everyone else to learn. We are learning as we go and hopefully this little experiment of ours will make someone a better photographer.

Thank you for visiting,
Alex and The Team
